Reet Yorkshire Food Mincemeat Biscuits

Get yourself ready for Christmas with our favourite mincemeat biscuits. Perfect for those with a sweet tooth, all while getting in the festive spirit - and they only take 30 minutes!


  • 200g (7oz) butter
  • 300g (11oz) caster sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 400g (14oz) plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
  • 125g (4½oz) chopped walnuts
  • 425g (15oz) Reet Yorkshire Food Luxury Mincemeat


Prep: 20 mins

Cook: 10 mins

  1. Preheat oven to 180 C/Gas Mark 4.  Grease Baking trays
  2. Cream butter, sugar and eggs together, then beat in the vanilla  
  3. Sift the flour, salt and bicarbonate of soda together, add to butter mixture
  4. Mix well until blended
  5. Stir in the nuts and mix well
  6. Drop a good tablespoonful measure of the mixture on the prepared baking trays
  7. Add a good teaspoon of mincemeat onto the top of the mixture
  8. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until light brown
  9. Remove from baking tray and allow to cool on wire rack
